Improv Street Art Tour
Stahl Stenslie
Join us for an unconventional street art walk – a guided tour with no guarantees!
We’ll take you into the city’s living gallery – where walls and alleyways become both stage and canvas. Over the course of a 90-minute walk, art theory, street history, poetry, and theatre are woven into a constantly evolving narrative. It’s improvised, intuitive, fantastic – and no one really knows what’s true. Not even the guide.
This isn’t a traditional tour, but a playful and thought-provoking experience that challenges how we think about both art and reality. When facts, fiction, imagination, and the urban landscape intertwine, new perspectives begin to emerge.
Because art is always experienced personally – and perhaps there isn’t just one true story behind a work, but as many as there are eyes to see it. What happens when we allow ourselves to interpret freely, associate wildly, and give art new meanings? What you hear might just change how you see.
This event is presented in collaboration with Oslo Street Art Festival, our partner festival dedicated to expanding the role of art in public space. Each year, the festival invites artists from diverse backgrounds to leave their mark on the city through murals, small-scale interventions, workshops, guided tours, lectures, and exhibitions. With a strong focus on non-institutional artistic practices, the festival fosters public dialogue and shared ownership of the urban visual landscape.
